Thought a history would be handy. Servers are obvious to add, I don't know if social metadata is a good idea. ImaginaryNet was the result of joining a couple of networks.

pre-2001
- Probably started around 1999, irc.weegie.net was a linked node to irc.rubiks.net
2001-2002
- deus set up on resnet. A lot of users joined, quite a few still exist.
- deus then moved to the internet and became frozenmercury.co.uk.
- cerebrus added.
- ImaginaryNet formally started on 23-Oct-2002, with merging of irc.weegie.net and Graeme Mathieson's irc server.
2002-2003
- resnet-irc.dyndns.org started.
- two #resnet channels used with disjoint communities.
- various hacky strategies were created for joining those on resnet to those outside resnet
2003-2004
- the various networks were unified, through Tardis, where they joined ImaginaryNet
- Two resnet irc servers existed, cerebrus and rain.
2004-2005
- rain ends service.
