ImaginaryNet using hybserv services, which provide the following service bots
- Chanserv - Channel Registration Services
- Nickserv - Nickname Registration Services
- Memoserv - Sending memo's to users
- Operserv - Services for operators
- Statserv - Network Statistics
- Global - Global message bot for announcements
A number of these only provide functionality to IRC operators. For more details
on how to use these, send them a private message saying 'help', as though they
were a normal user on IRC. Most IRC clients will allow you to do say
/msg nickserv help
to send a help message to nickserv. The important functionality of services are
using nickserv to register your nick, or chanserv to register a channel and
possibly maintain a list of banned users to block any abusive users or bots.
